For most of my life, I never thought of myself as an artist. As a child—and even as an adult before discovering resin—I couldn’t draw or paint if my life depended on it. I was always creative, but not in a way that would make anyone classify me as an artist. Even now, calling myself an artist sometimes feels a bit like being an imposter.

My journey with resin art began over four years ago, sparked by the inspiring creations I saw shared online. What started as simple curiosity quickly turned into a passion and a meaningful creative outlet. Now, in my 40s, I’ve lived with mental health challenges since I was 16, so I understand firsthand how difficult and complex that journey can be. Pouring resin has become more than just a craft—it’s a way for me to express myself, find balance, and celebrate resilience.

As a mom to a beautiful little girl, I’m continually inspired to create and to model the importance of self-expression and self-care. I am a strong advocate for mental health awareness and believe deeply that mental health matters. Through my art and my story, I hope to encourage others to find their own creative outlets and to know they’re not alone.
